Early Beginnings?
Here's a
curious article from the February 14, 1959 Daily Collegian
about the prospect of volleyball gaining varsity status at Penn State.
The Lost Archives, 1969-1973: An artifact now digitized
(thanks to PSUMVB alum Don Weyel '73) that documents Penn State's
early success in "Modern Power Volleyball" and the work of pioneers
who set the bar high for the Penn State Men's Volleyball program. A
great read.. and is posted here in 2 (large) files (PDF, part 1 =
10.4mb, part 2 = 16.5mb).
